Panayiotis Andreou’s work focuses on the humble and the marginal – on what is silenced, forgotten, or lost in the depths of time. Through embossed monotypes and delicate forms, he reactivates patterns of domestic past, depicting memory not as nostalgia, but as a lived experience, embedded in matter and touch. The shapes that once silently adorned humble everyday objects re-emerge – as sites of reflection, loss, and also resistance. Within an enigmatic world, with gentle lines and organic geometry, the artist’s flowers intertwine on cardboard – carriers of an inner tension that does not shout but insinuates. As archetypes of love and loss, memory and expectation, these forms tell a story that was never spoken but becomes perceptible to those who observe with care and inner silence.
